With a strong intention to serve society and extend advanced health care facilities to Latur and its surrounding rural regions, MAEER has successfully established MIDSR Dental College & Hospital along with MIMSR Medical College & Hospital, MIPS College of Physiotherapy, and MINS College of Nursing.
The Maharashtra Institute of Dental Sciences & Research was established in the year 2006 under the esteemed MAEER MIT World Peace Centre, Pune. Since its inception, MAEER MIT has remained steadfast in its commitment to the betterment of society through a value-based and holistic education system. The institution firmly believes that true education goes beyond academic excellence and must encompass ethical values, social responsibility, and compassion towards humanity. This philosophy is deeply embedded in the academic culture and administrative functioning of MIDSR.
MIDSR offers the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program with an annual intake capacity of 100 students. Admissions are conducted strictly as per the norms laid down by the Government of Maharashtra through the MH-CET and centralized counseling by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai. In compliance with the Honorable Supreme Court’s directives, the institution is fully prepared to participate in NEET-based admissions, ensuring transparency, merit, and national-level academic standards. Our admission process reflects fairness, integrity, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
